This is our line of Acne products created for all skin types and all ages. All formulations are naturally-based and created for long-term results for troubled skin.
How long should the products last me?
Since we only sell full-size bottles (no sample sizes), they should last anywhere between two and four months.
How often do I use these products?
We recommend you use Derma Cleanse twice a day for the skin. If you are noticing irritation, you may want to start slower and try night time only at first. Using the Derma Cleanse Acne Gel, you may want to apply a small amount of the gel on the affected areas for about 10 minutes at a time and then rinse off. Every situation is different and the best we can offer is to tell you to be patient as the number one reason for not getting results from skincare is not using it long enough to see a difference.
How long before I should see a difference?
You should start seeing a difference within 3 days of using ZENMED products. If you are noticing irritation, take it a bit slower. The skin is an organ that needs to adjust, so your peak results should be visible after about 3-4 weeks. Derma Cleanse is created for long-term results.
Will I have to take/use Derma Cleanse forever?
Absolutely not. Once you feel that your skin has reached a point where it seems like you don’t have a problem anymore, you can discontinue use. You may feel that the topical skincare products become a part of a normal routine for you and by no means are they created as just a one-time fix. From all that we gather, using products containing Vitamin C and Glycolic Acid can lead to a lifetime of clear skin and minimize the effects of aging. What if I am pregnant/wanting to become pregnant soon/nursing?
We do not recommend the capsules to be taken during any of these stages.
Can I use my other products while using ZENMED Derma Cleanse?
If using a prescription for your skin, it is always advisable to talk to a Doctor before starting any new healthcare regime. Using products like Retin A, Tazorac, Azelaic Acid, Benzoyl Peroxide may increase the sensitivity of your skin and cause irritation. Please use caution.
Can I go out in the sun or tan?
If you are using any of our products, it is strongly recommended that you use a sunscreen and avoid the sun whenever possible. Since we use beta hydroxy acid actives as well as other alpha hydroxy acids, the skin is exfoliating and more sensitive to sun damage.
Can I use makeup with Derma Cleanse?
Yes you can, but we highly recommend using light, non pore clogging makeup. Heavy concealers and foundations can help trap bacteria on the skin and cause breakouts to become worse. Ever tried mineral makeup powders? Our customers give us great reviews about these. Also, since night time is the restorative time for your skin, always wash off your makeup before bed.
